My Story

Hey guys, its Kim!

I was born and raised in a small farming community,

Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada.

I currently reside in Northern BC, Canada with my two kids.

This company was started when life had thrown a few lemons our way.
I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to buy a double stroller for my son, let alone supplies to start this company.

I started Sand and Stone in 2011, while I was pregnant with my son and had my two year old running around like toddlers do. Never could I imagine, 10yrs later I am where I am.

Thousands of cuffs sold, a trip to the Oscars, placements in Vanity Fair, GQ and an apparel line that sells out every launch.

Never in my dreams could I have imagined something I still create in my basement in this little northern town would have such an impact on myself and my #goldheartarmy community.

I have raised over $40k for my community and cant wait to see where this heart mission takes my kids and I.

The stories I have been told, they’re a piece of me.

The births, the deaths, the happy and all the sad, they are a now part of my life, because I got to create something for your life.

I thank you for trusting me with your most important pieces and memories.

Being a work at home mom isn’t easy, but I feel like this is what I was meant to do.

To create beautiful pieces for you to wear. To learn how to

balance working from home, running an entire company

and trying to still balance life, kids, friends and lets be serious,

keeping the house clean!

Some days are hard. Some days are easier. Even if there wasn’t an easy day, I will still continue on and persevere,  just to make sure you had a piece of your life on your wrist as a reminder of whatever is important to you.

Prayers happen in my little workshop for many of you, ones you’ll never know or hear, but somehow hopefully they find

you in some way.

Be grateful today.  Love today.  Love always,

   Kim
